Here's the fire pumpkin's bad day. I took over a hundred pictures of the burn, but this is one of the ones I really liked.
Fire's really hard to photograph! I'm happy with how this came out, though. I put a pie tin with some crumpled-up paper towels in it, then soaked the whole lot in a -lot- of lighter fluid. Then I threw a match at it and stood back. Naturally, tripod shot. EXIF data to right! |

This is the first year I've done purely "photo pumpkins," with this and the Aperture Science one. I might refine the Aperture one so that it can look Portal-ish in real life too, but who knows, eh?
